The Christian Men’s Fellowship (C.M.F) of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Rumueme Deanery on Sunday presented an award of honour to the chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd in recognition of his contributions to the work of God and humanity.
The presentation was made at a special thanksgiving service held in commemoration of the 2022 Father’s Day Celebration as enshrined in the doctrine of the church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, at the Deanery Headquarters Church ( St Stephen’s ), along Oroazi Road, Rumueme in Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Emolga Council Boss, was his Chief Press Secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu who thanked the Christian men’s fellowship and the entire church for recognizing the contributions of Dr Chidi Lloyd to the church of God and humanity, describing the awardee as a devoted christian who doesn’t take for granted the grace of God upon his life.
Bright Jossy, promised to extend the solidarity message from the church to the council chairman, assuring the men’s fellowship of Dr Chidi Lloyd’s gratitude for the honour accorded him.
The chairman of Obio-Akpor LGA, Barr George Ariolu was amongst other awardees who were honoured in different categories.
The Obio-Akpor council Boss was represented by the council secretary, Hon Ije Okabie who conveyed his chairman’s goodwill message to the church.
